The photographic series of the Hip Pocket Theatre (see Theater portfolio) was Kantor’s first documentary body of work created between 1999-2004. Heaven on a Biscuit was first exhibited in 2004 at the Arlington Museum of Art in Arlington, Texas, partially funded by Texas Commission on the Arts. In 2005, the exhibition, including a catalog, traveled to the Fort Worth Central Library along with the theater’s costumes, puppets, and props.
